Here's a result of playing around with u-myx. So this is done completely in u-myx but I exported it to WAV and encoded to MP3.

The track is also on http://www.mikeoldfieldlightandshade.com/umyx/ in u-myx format.

Here's the MP3:

The Light+Shade album turned out to be a lot more fun than I thought. If not for listening then for remixing and listening to other's remixes.  :)

This is very good, although there are some bits that I miss from the original e.g the dolphins!  ;)

I'll get your U-MYX and edit it sometime,

Thanks  :)

"Save the dolphins!"

You can make the "Quicksilver, the Greenpeace remix".  :p

Also I realize that while trying to create variation I've cut off too much of bass sounds. It's a good effect every now and then but I've overused it.

(Anyway that's what I think but I don't actually listen to that kind of music.)

I realize this is a remix, but can only assume (since I am still waiting for the album) that the disco/dance feel of this song is on the original version.  Oh my, is this what I have to look forward to?

It is indeed. Quicksilver, Nightshade, Romance, and Slipstream all are like that specifically. Resolution is kinda like it but its a half-time and is actually pretty cool. Interesting harmonies the vocaloids do there.

Nice mix, btw.
