Did Max Bacon sing the UK version of Magic Touch or was it somebody else? Which version is better? Is there an MP3 of the other version floating around?

Thanks for any help.

Max bacon(formerly of US band GTR)sang
the US version of Magic Touch. This is only
available on the original US 'Islands CD'
released in 87'.It is also available on the rare US CD 'A Virgin Compilation' in two
versions - the Single edit and album version. Jim Price sang the UK/Rest of the World version. This is available almost everywhere.I think this is the heavier version allowing that Jim's vocals are alot
stronger. Max does a fine job though, perhaps giving a little more emotion.
FM rock stations here in Australia chose to
play the Jim Price version, which is kind of weird because Virgin released Max's single
here. That is why I prefer Jim Price.
