"Music from the Balcony" seems to me effective as a piece of musical stream of consciousness: I get the image of MO on the balcony of a hotel in some tropical country - sometimes the external sounds (monkeys) dominate everything; sometimes a melodic idea will come to the surface of his mind and take over (I'm thinking in particular of that transcendent ten-note melody that occurs about two thirds of the way through the piece); and sometimes it's simply his personal problems (the Richard Branson issue, his being told to FO etc.) that come to the fore. A kind of musical counterpart of James Joyce or Virginia Woolf.

I never noticed it before but now that I know it is there, it definitely sounds like Big Fish to me :)

sorry to be hignorant - but could someone tell me where the words are?
Right at the very end, with the final note I hear a voice saying what I always thought was "F* off" but may be "back off". but this is something else?
