Topic: Loud 'orchestra hits', What instruments are in there?< Next Oldest | Next Newest >

I'm pretty sure :) that someone in here can tell me what instruments make up the very loud 'orchestra hits' that first come up at 0:27. [I'm calling them 'orchestra hits' whereas other people here call them 'stabs', because I have an Orchestra Hits preset on my Roland VA-7 which sounds very similar... ;)]. I think I can safely say that some kind of distorted guitar is in there, as well as synths. Can anyone be more precise than that? ;)

Sounds to me like synth brasses, and some sort of synth bass pitched way down. Something else too, maybe, but these are the elements I can recognise.
