Hi,

I've got one iece of that Hannover '81 concert (Sailor's Hornpipe), which
is of a very good quality. I guess this is a bootleg recording because I
didn't find any information about a releas of this recording.
Does anyone know if there are more than one track of this concert available? If yes, where can I find it?

Thanks in advance!

MfG

This show is a true soundboard, so the audio is excellent. If I remember well, the first 3 tracks on the Live side/section of the The Complete MO compilation were recorded on this show (someone can either confirm or deny?). Apart from the Amadian version there are some others releases and also different covers for this one (most are fan made).

The funny side on the recording happens when Mike stops playing at the beginning of Platinum to tune his guitar :D

Sheba and Mirage are from Essen, 1981, Mount Teide from Cologne, 1981 and Platinum... that could be from Hannover, but I have only one souce for that and I have cloth ears to compare bootleg and Complete and give an answer...

Yes, Sheba and Mirage are from Essen 1981.
Platinum, from Hannover 1981 (with two minor edits/corrections : the false start followed by guitar tuning is cutted, and a missing bass note at the end is added).
But Mount Teide is not from the Cologne 1982 show that can be found on bootleg.
(Note : There was three dates in Cologne in 1982).

It's nice that after the false start, the group went on to give one great performance of Platinum, almost flawless. Certainly one of Mike's greatest ever recorded performances.

Hi I picked up a TB11 live bootleg CD many years ago that was intro as first USA concert of it. Has an American guy as MC and other jamming stuff by MO after. Anyone know anything about it? :D
