Shooting apples at the green trees

Here's one to start off with.
Go to the tree with the apple in it, fly to it until the apple icon appears in the bottom left hand corner. And then fly to the other three green trees. As you approach the first two trees hit the space bar and something interesting will happen to the trees. And when you hit the space bar to the third tree, you will be transferred to Good World.

Shooting rings at avatars

Touch the green crystals so you can shoot little rings, and then try shooting rings at all the different avatars (the piano avatar is particularly rewarding).

[Thanks to Ron for this tip]

Shooting at avatars with different objects

Some avatars will swallow the rings or other items you can shoot at them. Same happens with the roses, it's nice to see the little green bird swallow a rose, and the beautifull colors if you hit it with a ring. The red butterfly will let you shoot roses.

[Some of these effects can be quite spectacular, and unexpected. Try shooting apples at the airship for example. (Added by Alan D)]

Shooting butterflies

Take one of the butterfy avatars (found around one of the green trees in the ravine behind the Tres Lunas sign) to visit the small butterflies found at the ring tree. Shoot butterflies at the butterflies (sounds odd, but trust me! ) to take an interesting experience.

Additional note by Alan D
Alternatively, you can go and touch the white leafless tree on top of the large butte at position 7 on the map. That will allow you to shoot butterflies in the same way. The light in the sky and the music of the butterfly world that you enter are particularly haunting. You can move between the red and yellow butterflies to change the music. The yellow butterfly's music is particularly plaintive and memorable.

Shooting pianos

Approach to the piano that takes you to the Piano Game (number 6 in the map), but don't touch it: when you get close enough you'll get fixed to it, and in the lower-left side of the screen you'll see you can shoot pianos. Now, come back without touching the piano.

With this "ammunition" you can reach things far away. Try to shoot the planet, the spaceship, and more things... be carefull, though, for you can damage some living form or produce a natural catastrophe... and that's not good for you.

Sticking to the weird flying things

While exploring the main land, you'll notice some flying "things" going here and there, like boomerangs, dust, ... When you approach to them you'll get stuck to them, and will be able to shoot different things; the same will happen when shooting at them, except that they'll disappear for a little.

Now, if you look around when being stuck or just after having shot them, you'll see some strange yellow particles in different places, which will disappear as soon as you move in any direction. They're just marking three of the rings you can find, so just go there and search them.

The coloured stones

If you explore carefully the region between the origin (cactus) and the ring tree (position 11 on the map), you'll find three very small coloured stones: red, blue, and green. Each stone is transparent, with a tiny ring inside it. If you touch them they disappear, and when you've touched them all, you'll find that you enter a slightly different dimension, in which a little swarm of yellow sprites shows you where the ring guarded by the crab is to be found.

But also (presumably due to a bug in the program) there will now be one or two strange holes in the landscape (there's a hole where the bat tunnel is normally found, for example, and another where the temple should be). You can pass through some of these holes into a kind of Dali-space, where you can roam beneath the surface, and the whole of Tr3s Lunas becomes strangely fragmented.

Additional note by The Bulldog:

There are more coloured stones available after the three - blue, green and red (drops some barriers and creates holes). The colour sequence seems to repeat, blue, green, red. They continue to appear in the same general area. I have not managed to touch/get all three additional stones to see if the same barriers drop and same holes appear, or if there is a different scenario with them.

The walking woman (Sally?)

The centre of the main land is a big circular place, with the origin at its centre (1 in the map).

Now, if you search in the borders, you'll find an ethereal woman walking. If you approach close enough you'll get stuck to her; now, approach a little more until you get stuck to her head. Coloured lights will appear, and she'll tell you something, which will vary depending on the number of rings you have.

The strange heads

Sure you have noticed those big heads with a hole. There're three: one at the right of Stonehenge (3 in the map), another one between the moonface portal (number 5 in the map) and the green crystals, and the last near the ringheads (number 10 in the map).

As well as being the way to restart when you're in the final world, you can try to enter through the hole anytime to listen a strange sound (listen carefully! ).

And also, try this: go to the golden trees near the cactus and touch the right one (supposing you have the cactus behind). Now you can throw golden rocks. Shoot one through the head's hole, and you'll get the same words as the walking woman.

And another one: when you arrive to the final temple without having got the shell ring, and return to the main land via the blue head, when you pass through the head's hole it will tell you where to go.

The Stick Men

Somewhere between the large butte at position 10 and the obelisk with the airship (see map), you'll find a couple of stick men. One of them, when touched, will cause some gentle music to be played. Meanwhile, dozens of miniature stick men will appear on the ground, as well as a rolling piano, and a butterfly. You can lock onto the butterfly and fly with it in time to the music.

To stop the sequence, touch the other stick man.

Additional note by The Bulldog

A third stick man can be seen walking near the origin after you return from Tai Chi Island and dolphin playtime, with 4 rings (i.e. just before the ride with the four horses). He doesn't seem to have anything to say, and doesn't respond to anything.

Island world

If you fly to the horse with an avatar and touch it, the avatar will disappear and the flying Pegasus is released (as normal). If you fly towards the lake you will now find the island, the ring and the praying mantis (but there's no tree on the island), and you're able to explore below the lake. This is a kind of fragmentary Dali-world. However, the barriers are still up. After a while the avatar will join you again.

The invisible fairy

Try this: play the swords game to arrive to the temple. Nothing strange here, you may say. But if you wander close to the left cat, in its right and near the ground, you'll get tethered to something, some particles will appear, and you'll hear some words... yes, it's the fairy that appears at the end, but it's invisible!

She is there also when completing the piano game, though you won't get any words from her this way.

Where to find the cats?

- In the temples: two cats, clearly visible, guarding the ring.
- At the end: two cats again, in front of you, with a friend.
- In the underwater castle: after the manta has taken you to the dolphins from Turtle Island, or the Canyon, go down to find the underwater castle. On one of the towers is a cat that doesn't need any oxygen tank.
- Driving the spaceship: in the Rebirth Tunnel, there's a pilot cat on the spaceship (or you thought it was automatic?). It's in the front, looking forward.

By the way... have you noticed the sound they produce? They seem to be very relaxed and enjoying your visit.

"Turtle Island" (the song) on Turtle Island (the place)

When you are on Turtle Island, look around, find the turtle floating on the water and shoot it with a pearl. This will make a group of little turtles emerge from the water, and you'll hear an excerpt from "Turtle Island", the song from the Tr3s Lunas album. Personally I find this a very nice item.

Bubbles, or, All at Sea

Flying out over the sea from the stonehenge beach, you may find some bubbles breaking the surface of the sea. Look for a slightly darker patch of water slightly to the left as you fly towards tai-chi island.

Once you find the bubbles, you can break through the surface of the sea and swim underwater.

Also, doing a little circle is the turtle.

[The initial discoverer of the bubbles is Trinidad, and you can see his pictures showing how to find the bubbles here, and also what to look for above the surface, as well as what you see under the surface.]

The green crystals

There are two sets, marked in the map. You can see one of them here. They're like some kind of hexagonal-tubular bells, and, yeah, you can play them.

If you approach you'll get stuck to them, a music will sound (slightly different for the two), and you'll be given ring projectiles. Just throw the rings to the crystals to make some sound (again, different for the two sets of crystals).

You can play with up to six notes, just throwing the rings at different places. To be able to do it, just go forward a little and stop, unsticking yourself from the crystals, but still being in front of them. Now you can rotate the view, and throw rings freely.

Another Pegasus

Just go close to the white horse, with zebra stripes, and get stuck to it. You'll hear a "tension" sound. Now go a little closer; you'll get stuck again, and a Pegasus will emerge from the white horse, flying to the sky.

Sparks in the ground

If you stand somewhere at the right of the large butte near position 10 in the map, you'll hear a little sound, and see some sparks appearing from the ground.

An unexpected flying saucer ride

Start as if you were going to play the 7 rings game - pick up the ring from the shell on the beach, the ring from the crab, then the ring guarded by the scorpion by the white leafless bush. But now, instead of going to Stonehenge to be taken to the island for the fourth ring, try taking a look around you.

You'll notice that near the Tr3s Lunas letters, an arch has appeared. And over the arch is a sprite that hasn't been there before. You may also catch glimpses, and hear the sound, of a flying saucer travelling at great speed through the sky.

The flight path of the flying saucer passes close to this arch, and if you go hang around near the sprite and the arch for a few minutes, it's very likely the saucer will pick you up. It will carry you at great speed out to the volcano and back, repeatedly. It's hard to stay in the saddle - usually I find I hit something unexpectedly, and get thrown back to the exploding cactus. But it's an exhilarating ride while it lasts.

Additional note by The Bulldog

The option for the "flying saucer ride" comes after collecting the Scorpion/White Bush ring as number 3. If the saucer picks you up, you will lose ring 3 when you either fall off, or jump off, and it will no longer be available to you. It is my experience that nothing can be done to get back onto track to do Dolphin/Tai-Chi Island and Horses/Mantis ring. [I've stayed on the saucer for about 20 min. and it seems that all one gets is the thrill of the ride, plus the loss of the Scorpion ring.]

Additional note by Alan D

If you've lost the third ring during the flying saucer ride as The Bulldog describes above, you can get back on the island/dolphin/horses sequence as follows:
1. Collect another ring (eg play the piano game) so you now have three again.
2. Go to the temple. Pick up a ring from the stone table ("make a wish") and drop it in the well. You lose a ring. Repeat, and lose another. You now have only one ring.
3. Visit the place where you originally picked up the second ring. The ring will have returned there. Collect it.
4. The spirit is now proud of you, the scorpion's ring appears, and you're back into the sequence.

Additional note by Trinidad

You don't have to lose one ring once you get caught by the saucer. It just happens when you get hit by something, or when you get off outside a defined area, which would be, more or less, a circle with the cactus at the middle and the start of the lake as the border.

Something to note is that, once you get off, the barriers will disappear, though going further than the area described, you'll return to burning cactus. Also, you'll see the same pinky particles that appear in the "chair" when finishing the horses ride. Doesn't seem to be anything interesting, though.

Playing with dolphins, again and again and again

When returning from the dolphins find the turtle swimming close to the shore and shoot at it. It will take you back to the dolphins, you can do this over and over again. But why?

You can skip the dolphin game (and be taken by the ray straight back to the shore) by just shooting a ring at the big avatar dolphin.
