For anyone else this might seem far fetched, but Mike likes puzzles and games, so I feel justified in posting this.... Anyway, I was thinking of the "queenly" power of hurricanes - their force and how they used to be named only after women - and it occurred to me that "Irene" is an anagram of "reine", French for "queen". Also, the Queen would presumably not be high on Mike's list of favorite people, having not awarded him any honors, so perhaps there would be added satisfaction in associating hurricanes with queens.

Even more amusingly, the third line, "She's comin'", unscrambles to "mischosen"

Isn't it funny that Irene really means peace, or calm?
(In greek, it's a greek word.)

I would like the notion of an "anti-hurricane" bringing peace and tidying people's lives. I know of many regions and individuals being in desperate need of such a hurricane to strike them.

the hurricane of peace haha
