I believe that there is humour throughout his work (including videos! )
Let us post here humourus instances of Mike's music and videos (or even interviews or anything...) It can be the playing of some instrument, not necessarily the lyrics, or his behaviour in concerts or anything as I said previously.

I begin with the music video from "Crime of Passion" and how Mike behaves/looks/is dressed on it.

[Should I rather spell it 'humor'?]

I laughed at that dumb Knebworth joke where Pete Acock gets carried away with the solo and has to be carried off stage. Just after the bit where Mike on his break inflicts 'guess who' upon Pierre Moerlen who is still hard at work.

Thank you for your replies.

I particularly like that drop-like sound on "Family Man". I always laugh.

Think it was the 1981 band that made a show of taking beverages during Charleston for some comic relief. Funny at the time.

Breaking into Blue Danube during Punkadiddle made people laugh.

The jokes in the lost Ommadawn are really dumb now and it's a good thing the tape wore out really. :p

The Sailor's Hornpipe with the original Viv Stanshall was properly hilarious to me back in the day tho.

"controversy in the world of embroidery..."
