The release date for mail order is April 12th, and that's being touted by OML as the big release date. It is however already available as a download. Contrary to the way it seems from the publicity, it's not really been released 'early' - the March release date for the download version has been planned since at least December 2003, though an exact date wasn't set down until the game actually went online!

This is the reason that it's in the forum calendar as 12/4/2004 - because it's still the date for the full release (including, hopefully, the launch of the online shop) and because not even the people working on it really knew an exact date for the release (even up to a few days before, Fanny was saying "it could be tomorrow, it could be next week...") - 'sometime or other in March' is a bit hard to put in the calendar!
