I need a place to put my avatar, this seems like the most suitable place.

Forgive me, I don't understand. The place to put your avatar is to the upper-left of your post, a place pre-selected by the site's designers. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It's a useful place if you want to enlarge and scrutiize the finer details. Recently I enquired about Balbulus' avater - I thought it was 2 fallopian tubes but it turned out to be 2 dragons!

Maybe that's not really a cactus :D.

Talking of cactus and tumbleweed, it's quiet round here lately :/

What I meant was, a place to post your avatar, if you havnt got you own site to put it on. This is the only way I can find to make it work.

Actually, its a bit anoying. THe site says it takes .jpgs, but, if its in capitals, like .JPG, it doesnt take it, so i've had to post it again, after putting it through a different program, which would save it in lower case letters. And its the cactus from Mikes 1st Music VR game, tres lunas.

Yes, I was just about to use that, but I had to wait for the picture to come through. Obviously, you were quicker than me!

Good on you Douglas, you managed to put your avatar up. The guys are tech savvy! Me, I stuck with a smurf, too chicken to try the apps! Is it really a cactus! Cheers, Deb

Imagery huh? Well it could be viewed as a phallic symbol. On the other hand, the two branches could have a religious connotation. Christ-cross? Kind of like the sexual/religious duality of Justin Hayward's song "Deep" on Ser La Mer(sp). Yeah I know......SHUT UP JIM. Yer freakin' us out. OK, bye.

Hi OmmaGeddon -

I can't enlarge it?

Is it a big eye on a stick man?

Hi wiga,

It’s not meant to be enlarged. Me and MVR Superstar had both been trying to get our avatars online and this was the only way we could do it without having our own web sites – I had to upload my image onto this page in a regular post and then clicked on the image to go to another page with just the image on it; I then cut and pasted the URL of that page into my avatar link. It’s a bit long winded but as you can see it works. If anyone else wants to do it that's how you do it!

For some reason it says ‘Click to enlarge image’ next to the image when that doesn’t apply to this situation. If you want to see a much bigger version of my avatar, click on the following link and scroll to just past halfway down the page. Hope it doesn’t give you nightmares!
