When you've got your first 4 rings, and you've returned from Tai Chi Island, and touched the origin, you can see four horses waiting on the plain. The air is full of magic. They want to take you to the fifth ring, but we're going to attempt something different (thanks to Trinidad, who was the first to do this).

Approach the horses, and ride with them through the storm. But don't run ahead of them. Hang behind. Let them drag you along the river valley until you see the last bridge approaching. Position yourself so that they drag you into the corner - the idea is that you're going to try to jam yourself into the corner of the bridge.

If you succeed, the horses will run on, and leave you behind. In a few moments they grow wings and fly away, leaving you behind, free to roam in Horses's World. This is a place you can't normally visit properly, because the horses just drag you through it. Take a look at the place. Here, you can go and find out what's really at the end of a rainbow. There's a lot of white: is it snow?

Over in the plain, you can find the horses again. They've lost their wings, and stand in the snow, ready for another ride.

I would add that if the horses succeed in taking you to the lake, you don't need to restart again all the steps from the beggining. Just touch those pinky particles in the big rock near the place you arrive, and you'll restart the ride again. Good luck this time!
