Now, can anyone tell me which collection of musicians/year applies to which of the recordings on the Live side?

According to Ralf Erhard's nice "Did you know" page in his excellent wink site "Mike Oldfield's Distant Earth" ( http://mitglied.tripod.de/distantearth ), all of the live pieces but one (Platinum) come from one January 1981 concert in Essen, Germany...and I happen to have an uncut mp3 of Platinum (same version as on TC plus a false start), recorded on February 2, 1981 in Hanover, Germany. smile. So it can be rightful to say that the 1981 line-up applies to all of the live pieces. smile

Except for Mount Teide that comes from a later tour, of course. Probably recorded in 1982 (the most similar live performance to this one I have heard is from this year).  ;)
