I am in the process of writing a Hard Core Rock song. I have an intro and thats it. I want to then have a chord progression followed by the intro again, then a solo. But I am stuck on Ideas for the progression and the solo.

Please submit Ideas!!
HELP!!

If we gave you ideas it would cease to be 'your song' and start becoming 'our song'. And then you'd take credit for it. No thanks.

Now if you're talking about arrangement and not themes and music in general, we could give you advice...but you seem to have it all worked out there that it will start with the intro and then some progressive chords etc. What more can we do? You just have to sit down and figure it out for yourself. Practice makes perfect! Even if it doesn't sound good to begin with you start to realise tune after tune what doesn't sound good and in doing so learn more and you start to learn scales and progressions all on your own. That's how I learned. I never took one lesson. You can do it, too!

Ok, then. Calm down, dude. No hard feelings. I didn't mean to sound like I was saying you would do that...sorry for that.

I just meant that there's no way we could give you ideas without giving you our own music. The point of my post was to encourage you to work on it yourself. You have the ability. Just mature it.
