[It seems I'm posting nothing but silly things, lately, but anyway... :)]

I think we all know :) that Mont St. Michel is near France. So what the heck has it got to do with a slightly Celtic piece (I'm saying 'slightly' because it's not as Celtic as the rest of Voyager, but IMHO it definitely has a Celtic vibe...) at the end of a very Celtic album? Or maybe Mike just liked the placename and used it as a title without thinking too much about it? :)

P.S.: What was the location of the cover photos? Do I remember it correctly as somewhere near Ibiza or am I completely wrong? :)

It's in Brittany, a very strongly Celtic area of France. The Breton language spoken there is part of the same group of Celtic languages as Cornish and Welsh - it's very definitely a Celtic region!

no, u are right. the photo on the cover was taken in ibiza, on a cliff on the south west of the island. the mount behind is es vedrĂ , a magnificent rock emerging from the sea.

I think you'll find Mont St Michel is in Normandy, but only just.
Look at this map to see what i mean:
http://www.normandy-tourism.org/gb/02ville/indexm.html

I have been to Mont St Michel a few times, and it has lots of celtic invluences to it,just goto the tourist shops there, and see how much celtic stuff there is,and the general feel and design on the structure and buildings is celtic too,so,although at first it might be something incorrect on Mike's part, when you check out where he's coming from, you find out he is very correct.

I wouldn't be surprised if that was his main influence

I went back to Mont St. Michel in 2015 and as I was walking up to it, I had Mike's tune in my head, I think the track works really well when you are at the place.
