I've just been listening to FOTF, not sure where it originates from, but I think it's Scottish in origin.
I know FOTF is often used as one of the pieces of music when our fallen soldiers , (Scottish Regiments??) are repatriated from Afghanistan to the UK. (However I feel not one more British soldier's life should be wasted in that utterly and pointless war, what is going on in Afghanistan poses no threat to national security). Getting politcical aside, I think FOTF is a beautiful song, but makes me cry if I hear it as a song played for the repatriation of one of our Fallen Heroes!!!!

If you feel a little glum to Hergest Ridge you should come.
