One more time, the most usual topic. What's your favourite track? I've voted for 'Conflict', but I also like Sheba, Celt and Taurus I a lot. Now it's your turn...

QE2, because I usually play along with it. :)

Umm... ung... gngngngng... Ok, it's Taurus I. It's not because it's the largest one, but I just love those sounds and melodies. Great stuff.

That's a fantastically difficult decision... my oh my...  :D
Well, I love every single track on this album with a passion, but in the end I voted for Conflict, not least because I think this one doesn't usually get the recognition it deserves.

QE2, because, well....just because.
It's the biggest "journey" on the album, samples a guitar theme from first excursion and rocks me.

Taurus I is great, but QE2 is better, because it uses Taurus I themes, but enhances them.

And besides, that guitar solo is so great.

Wonderful Land. The guitars at the beginning are just breathtaking.

I haven't heard this album yet, but I love his version of Arrival - I think it's freakin' fantastic and a great hit single that never was.

hmmmm, hard decision....

I'm stuck between QE2 and Taurus 1.
whatever it will become, surely not: Mirage, 'cause I can't hear this tune anymore...
:)

Later,

My favourite Track on QE2 is "Celt". I love these drums and the singing on the song very much.

I'll go with wonderful land ,a lovely tune that compliments the original, but in away of it's own sound unique. stunning guitar and an air of enjoyment, I would love to see this track played live.

I'm another of those Taurus I voters. But this album never really won my heart, pleasant enough though it is.

Mirage is a wonderful track, but not as good as the title track or Taurus 1.

I was going to say something, but Guimauve2 said it first:

Cheers.

Got to be Mirage. This is a paradoxical choice for me as ordinarily, I would opt for the longer tracks (Taurus 1 or QE2). However, Mirage for me sums up in 5 minutes so much of what I enjoy in Mike's music. For one, it is almost like 1 large guitar solo and the playing is superb. The track has such rhythm, energy and strength running through it too.

But...oh, it's that guitar playing that makes it!

I like this album very much.  However I think it is once of the worst album covers.

I *finally* got this album---I found it difficult to find in South Africa---and I haven't stopped listening to it for three straight days.

So, from my "freshman" perspective on this album, Sheba wins hands down. Not that I don't LOVE the other tracks (especially QE2), but this one just gets me here... right here...

My favorite is Conflict. Very 70's instrumental Mike but with a loud sound.
