Eva Mali is a russian classical / pop / epic vocalist and will release a new Album, where Mike will play guitar. On facebook she posted that:

I'm so excited to present you this first little preview of my upcoming album! This song is called "Into The Sky" and it is the official vocal version of Tubular Bells by Mike Oldfield (who is also playing guitar on my album).
In the coming weeks we will present more of my songs to you online, so stay tuned!

I do not dislike  ;)

I wish all well for the forthcoming release.  A guest on one track?  Lead on all?  Only time will tell. :)

Heard the preview a week or two ago..

Don't really want to hear anymore.
Dull and insipid.

So 40 years ago Mike didn't want vocals on Tubular Bells but now he thinks its a good idea? I guess it had to be HIS idea.

I tend to think that younger Mike 40 years ago was correct in his judgement.

Just to remember - Sarah Brightman released the track "Closer" in 2013, where she took another part of the TB1 finale:

Wow. That's awful.

I can hear the finale of TB in there but the vibe of the synths reminds me of Tangram era Tangerine Dream (not meant as an insult to them, cause I love TD).
