I just watched this on DVD for the first time in years... probably only the second time I've seen it to be honest. I put it on to capture the audio from it for myself.

But it doesn't half look dated! All those massive perms and shoulder pads, and cringeworthy un-funny antics by John Gordon Sinclair.

Visually a very boring and uninteresting show, but musically, I think it sounded pretty good - much more live than the TBIII performance, though there are still those frustratingly obvious moments when something's coming from DAT, such as the vocals on Altered State.

Even so, it was probably a wonderful show to actually attend.

The Caveman bit was impossible to perform live, as the vocals were studio-processed. But I agree about Sinclair, he's terrible. I'd have preferred to see Mike himself miming the Caveman bit, but of course he was playing guitar! :)
