Oooooh.  Now that is nice.  Very clear and upfront guitar.  More Oldfieldy than the Promo album.

you need to hear the whole thing - the guitar is nice, the choir sounds as thou it's made using voice synthesis.

I donwloaded "Spheres" from iTunes and I'm torn between loving it and being disappointed...

The first minute sounds like a complete muddle - the Shabda voices don't go well with the Harbinger strings and almost sounds like I've accidentally opened two versions of iTunes each playing different tracks.

However, after the muddled beginning I really like the way it builds and apart from a dodgy xylophone sample is pretty good from then until the end - especially with more guitar and more 'Mike-ish' arrangements.

So overall I'd give it 3.5 out of 5. Definitely worth the 79p from iTunes.

Cheers,
Terry.

The beginning didn't sound promissing, but when it comes to Shabda Early Stages from 1:40...I do love it a lot...I'm a Shabda addict,he he.

Never heard a note of Spheres before so was suprised with the blindingly obvious TB reference at the beginning (although I'd read that it was there).

Great to hear that guitar though, and a lovely tune/chord sequence to boot.

I like it!

I'm miffed at my iTunes. "Your search had no results"

hi !!

I use I-tunes in Belgium, and I read also "no result" when I looked for Spheres.
Very pity.
I think I Tunes could offer this track all over the world !!

have a nice day

Not having heard MOTS yet this doesn't sound muddled up to me. It does sound promising. I'm glad this is a demo though because I'm not keen on the keyboard sounds, I'm really looking forward to hearing the real instruments.

Agree entirely.

I've resisted listening to any MOTS too up till now.
Downloaded Spheres yesterday and I really like. It is good music to work to - looking forward to the album. Not long now.

I agree that the opening part sounds very messy. It must initially sound like that to those who know Harbinger and Shabda from the promo. I love Spheres from 3:21 where there's the funky Shabda beat plus the new guitar bassy bit that I don't think (unless i'm mistaken) is anywhere in MOTS.

Overall it's two thumbs up from me.

For UK fans who have'nt heard the promo Album you might be tempted to download the free track from MOTS being offered by Amazon UK i.e. The Tempest ...Link :-
