Of course, being a hangout for guitarists, most of the efforts were failed attempts to show off, rather than anything interesting, but I like the idea (and hopefully people here wouldn't fall into the same trap)... Should a collaboration of any kind get off the ground, you might just be able to persuade me to add a suitably silly part just to wreck all the hard work Back to top

If it's done right and, as Korgscrew talked about before, people don't just go showing off and actually really make something beautiful, it should be very good. I'd be happy to contribute to something like this! I, for one, am sick of having to make the whole rest of the song before I do the guitar parts! Don't get me wrong, I love creating music piece by piece. Making the Tubular Bells intro for instance was very fun in putting it together and deciding what sounded more beautiful which way and then playing it....but my love is for the guitar.
