I heard the 2010 mix today on my drive back from Clacton. Wow! It's bl***y amazing. The clearest, crispest remaster/mix of any of his albums I have heard so far, and the music is so well blended.

My first listen of Ommadawn was with the 2010 mix. I thought it was boring. I dismissed it for some time, but then I found the '75 mix, gave it a whirl, and loved it. The dynamics were so much better to me. Now, over a year later, I prefer the 2010 mix. I think the 2010 mix is best for those who are familiar with Ommadawn, but not for first-time listeners. I think they need to experience the screaming guitar solo and the drums echoing forever, and barely being able to understand Mike in "On Horseback" first (:
