Hi All !
I'm looking for guitar chords...
( winkAs Fox said, I'm a very good 'Air Guitar' Player and 'Air Bodhran' player and I try to improve myself in real playing biggrin)

TW said "much more to come", but where are they ???? wink all right, I should be able to find them myself but I know there's a lot of musician in this Forum (e.g. Olivier, Rod, Carsten, KorgScrew etc...) so why not asking wink ? (I'm specially interrested in songs from 'Guitars')
Cheers, GMOVJ

There's a few from Guitars (and heaps of everything else) at the Amarok Tabbing Society.

If you want chords, there are a few there but IMHO tabs are much more useful and there are plenty of them available.

Thanks rosko, I didn't think looking at ATS... rolleyes

I agree tabs are very useful for solos and melodies, but Mike is very very very too performant for me... Even with tab, I often plays one note while he is playing 4 (I've got problems with Serpent Dream)... In fact, I would like to play 'Cochise' with a friend who play the solo... And I don't want to play chords too approximativly.
But you're right, I should improve both Rythmic and Solo part wink
Thanks, GMOVJ

Hi GMOVJ, here's some thoughts of mine.
- To me, "normal" pop music has chords and the melody, and that's about it.
- Mike Oldfield's music is often much much more. Sometimes he stacks tune upon tune and doesn't care for "chords". (I love that. smile)
- However, for many songs/tracks you CAN write down chords. For instance, "Cochise" should be no problem.
- The people who made MIDI files, have analyzed Mike's music very deeply. There are two MIDIs of "Cochise". Maybe you can mail to the authors and ask what the chords are.
- If you don't find out in time, just mail to me. I'll find the chords for you.
