Mike Oldfield is at his best when writing mysterious or joyous music, and the african chant of Amarok, the one that you find on 'Elements' compilation, has both. I never get tired of listening to it, and now I am realising that together with Tubular Bells opening this might be his most ingenious tune!

It's brilliant! I was seriously ill with food poisoning in 1995, and this bit of Amarok made me feel much better! :)

Tom Newman? Julian Bahula? The vocalists themselves? However it was that Mike decided to weave the chant in and out of the last part of the album, sondela especially, it makes for a perfect end to the perfect album! :D ?
