I know these were two of the first demos to be released, but WOW aren't these tracks incredible? Alpine Guitar sounds so evocative of early morning, and Landing sounds like the climax to a long journey IMO - wouldn't longer versions on the album just be fantastic? Post here if you agree!!! smile

Yep! I agree MITR. I loved watching the video presentation of MVR - especially the music for the bird flying through the frosty tunnel in the snowy mountains. The general sound of the MVR experience (whcih should be that of Tres Lunas also) is very uplifting and restful to me and i'm looking forward to it very much.

Notice the similarity between part of the 'Landing' melody and "Let There be Light'. I think my favourite of all the bits released is actually 'Turtle Island'.
I like the way that little melody hooks are shared between tracks/sections...shows how Mike does still know a thing or two about music, despite claims to the contrary...

I love the "firststepsrealpiano" tune, and that "owl" part based in the "bflyguitar real audio" appeared a long time ago in the web page.

It´s a pity since that Mike hasn´t released more sound "demos" of Music VR. Hopefully, the May 27 is coming so fast!!! (53 days remaining)

How come I can't find any music demos of MVR on the new MVR site? Are they only in the old one?

That's right - there are no music samples on the new site (apart from a little background music loop and some in the video presentation). I should imagine that a quick look around on the web should reveal a site that has kept copies.

Thanks Tubular Belle! If Turtle Island is a taste of things to come I'd say we're in for a wonderful musical baquet!

Does anyone know the name of the music on the new demo that plays when you are pushing the pointed spheres through the arch? If that's Alpine Guitar I'll by annoyed because the link dosen't work on the site. I'm interested in getting some track names for the music of the new demo. Can anybody help me? Any advice on how to play the audio with the demo (I can't play .snd files) would also be nice.

Alpine Guitar is the butterfly music with just the guitar playing by itself (according to the clip anyways) with no drums or anything else.

Alpine Guitar is very nice. Landing rocks as well. There is some very nice music in Music VR, and I'm excited about the album! Hope it comes out pretty soon in Australia.
