Just noticed I had Voyager down twice - anything obvious I missed?  (apart from Exposed which I no longer seem to own).

Here's my list, just for the fun of it:

What I consider the best (not numbered because they're all different pieces and numbering wouldn't do these albums justice):

Five Miles Out
Hergest Ridge
Ommadawn
Return to Ommadawn
Amarok
Tubular Bells
Crises

The other albums:

1. Tubular Bells 2
2. Tubular Bells 3
3. Discovery
4. QE2
5. Platinum
6. Incantations
7. The Songs of Distant Earth
8. Guitars
9. Earth Moving
10. Heaven's Open
11. Islands
12. Man On The Rocks (may go lower, I haven't made up my mind yet)
13. Music Of the Spheres
14. Voyager
15. Tubular Bells 2003
16. The Killing Fields
17. Tres Lunas
18. Light + Shade
19. The Millenium Bell

I find it hard to order the albums - on most albums I find at least one track that I find masterfully done, true to Mike's inital, very emotional style but as complete albums, some of them are definitely weaker.

Here's my attempt, subject to change later. I'd first like to say that it's not necessarily a reflection of quality that I listen to some albums more than others, it's just a combination of things I subjectively connect with more on certain albums as opposed to others.

01) Tubular Bells II
02) Tubular Bells
These two positions tend to vary, but I keep coming back to TBII
03) Crises
O4) Ommadawn
05) The Songs Of Distant Earth
06) Voyager
07) Tubular Bells III
08) Five Miles Out
09) Amarok
10) Platinum (Original)
10.5) Platinum (Standard)
11) Tr3s Lunas
12) Hergest Ridge (Original)
12.5) Hergest Ridge (Boxed Mix)
13) Music Of The Spheres
14) Guitars
15) Incantations
16) Shade
16.5) Light
17) QE2
18) Islands
19) Discovery
20) Tubular Bells 2003
21) Man On The Rocks - still new, need time to get into it more. It has potential to move up.
22) Heaven's Open
23) The Millennium Bell
24) The Killing Fields (low on the list, not because I don't like it, it's just an intense listen)
25) Earth Moving

I'd also like to say that even the albums I don't listen to a lot, I do listen to from time to time and they each have at least a few tracks I consistently enjoy a lot (in regular rotation on my iPhone). Also, there are plenty of stellar non-album tracks.

So...back in 2009 this was my list:

1.   Incantations
2.   Ommadawn
3.   The Songs of Distant Earth
4.   Tubular Bells II
5.   Five Miles Out
6.   Crises
7.   Tubular Bells III
8.   Exposed
9.   Music of the Spheres
10.  Hergest Ridge
11.  Amarok
12. Tubular Bells
13. Tres Lunas
14. Voyager
15. Platinum
16. The Millennium Bell
17. Discovery
18. Light + Shade
19. QE2
20. Guitars
21.The Killing Fields
22. Islands
23. Heaven's Open
24. Earth Moving
25. Orchestral Tubular Bells

That is a very silly list. I would place numbers 6-20 as tied for fourth place, and include Man on the Rocks with that group. I really like it all--depends on my mood. But....Incantations is the sound track of my life and my death someday, too. Diana....Luna.....Lucina....

I wouldn't put it quite so strongly, but certainly Incantations is my "go to" album in times of stress, sadness or even joy...but of how many of the post Incantations albums can anyone say that (Inkanta's comment?

I wonder how come nobody lists 'Collaborations' as an album!!! It's supposed to be one, and for me not really the worst; I always thought its a very early glimpse of 'Voyager'.
