Also, hello  :)

I’ve just joined (long-time occasional lurker)……. Several years late to the party!

Hello and welcome Diane, it is always good to have new members and new voices here.

Yes, it is quiet :( hopefully we might have something to talk about next month with the new Tubular Bells shows, it has now been 4 1/2 years since Return to Ommadawn!!! come on Mike, give us some new music.

Tell us about your favourite albums/tracks from Mike?

Thanks for the reply! You mean welcome *Grace* though!

My favourite albums are Ommadawn, Incantations, Platinum and Amarok. It must have been the late 70s when I bought my first MO album. Over the last couple of years I’ve been listening again and bought a couple more albums on vinyl.

I suspect that sadly we won’t see much more output from Mike, if any - I hope I’m wrong. What a back catalogue though, and I really hope some younger people discover his music.

I love those albums too, in fact, I can find something I love on all of his albums, even Earth Moving. It is an astonishing back catalogue, I still feel he doesn't get the credit he deserves. With the Olympics about to start, I have been re-watching his 2012 performance, an amazing piece of music.

Hi and welcome.

I'm also hoping for some new music from him. Probably not going to happen, but you might never know. Already very happy with the many albums he made.

My favourites are: TB1, Amarok, Distant Earth, Crises and Discovery.
I actually like them all, except TB2003 and Tres Lunas.

Greetings! :)
