Well done mate, yet another cracking recording. The standard of musicianship amongst you guys is amazing.

I think Ireland was my favourite track, but they all sounded excellent. Well done Soundgram.   :)

We haven't heard all of it, but the three tracks that we have heard sound great. "Ireland" is really fine.

So does annyone downloaded the music?

or is my music to much Oldfield?
I think it is diferent from Mike in the way it has more of a personal story behind it. As i was born in 1970 the Tubular music was one of the first things along with J.M. Jarre that i realy liked.

Well I hope my 5 Gb server trafic download limit will be enough...   :)

I've been slowly downloading the first few pieces, and there's some lovely music here - but are some of these files corrupted? Childhood Memory and Tranquillity are both spoiled by stopping suddenly with a scrunching sound about 2 seconds before the end. I tried downloading them again, but it was just the same the second time.

The music is conected over the CD track points.
So some tracks should be played with no pauses between them so you hear it as one ongoing stream of music.
Sadly the mp3 conversion can't handle cd edits that well, I will re-upload the tracks after i've checked them all!

Thanks to all for your kind words here.

I like it too. :) Some very pleasant melodies and excellent mastering. I can also see the connection to Mike and particularly Tubular Bells, in recurring themes, diversified instrumentation and that the tone is changing continously, though I don't find most of the atmospheres very Oldfieldian. In the more folky tracks I rather feel Andreas Vollenweider-ish tones. My favourite tracks on the album are Holding Back and Final Decision.

Thank you for sharing it!

Yes, I thought that would be the case, and tried sticking tracks together without a pause but there's definitely something missing and the join is painfully wrong.

Is there some way I can buy a CD from you and avoid all these downloading problems altogether?

Well, there's a lot of music here. I've only had time to download a few tracks so far, and I like what I've heard, so I've voted that I like it. But if I'd put in all the time, inspiration, sweat and toil that you clearly have on this,  I'd hope to get considered opinions (and that takes time) rather than quick snappy responses. Who knows - I may eventually end up loving it - but it would probably take a while for me to recognise that, if it happened.

Hi,

It's a really nice recording made. Instrumentation beautifully played and no point to argue nothing, because almost all tracks are lovable and enjoyable. I mean "almost" as I couldn't download one track: "Peace Of Mind". Hope to try getting it again quite soon.

My greetings, Soundgram!

:)

I've just heard Ireland. Absolutely beautiful. Inspiration is certain, isn't it, but it has its own (yours) style as well. Tomorrow I'll dwnld all pieces. Congr.! The music that brings peace, rest and joy to our souls is obviously worth listening, buying(!!!!!;) and - go for it!- creating!!!!!!
best wishes!

When I try to unzip the CD artwork (using ZipGenius), I'm told I need a password. Help, please?

How do you get that filtered Oldfield guitar sound that you use on Final Decision?  I've been trying for ages to replicate it but I have the feeling that the combination of my Fender Strat and my Boss GT-5 isn't going to ever get it.

I really need to buy a PRS or something.

The album's great, by the way.  It is extremely Mike Oldfield in places, but I'll never get bored of hearing that kind of music.

well, when I try to unpack the artwork I get error-messages, no matter which program I'm using for unpacking (tried 4 different ones actualy and, yes, also tried it with a re-downloaded artwork-pack).

Is there any chance to re-upload the artwork in any way?

But now to the main point of this posting: it's always refreshing and nice to see new musicians on this board, especially when they're such talented guys as Johan is.

Many thanx for this beautiful stuff & have a good weekend,

d.
