Mike Oldfield
"Secrets/Far Above The Clouds" released April 12th on WEA

"Secrets/Far Above The Clouds" is the uplifting new single from Mike Oldfield featuring radical dance rworkings of the original "Tubular Bells" track.

Mike is no stranger to dance culture having spent time absorbing the vibrant club scene as a resident of the party island Ibiza. The effects of this period can be traced to the inclusion of full-on dance reworkings of the track by two masters of the trade - Jam & Spoon and The Time Writer - which have been championed by DJ's Pete Tong, Nick Warren and Graham Gold.

The acclaimed Frankfurt-based remixer The Time Writer aka Frank Cochois has contributed 2 mixes and has previously worked with Boy George on his 'Jesus Loves You' project. There are also 3 reworkings by the renowned Jam & Spoon who have remixed artists as diverse as Pet Shop Boys, Quincy Jones, Frankie Goes To Hollywood and the Stereo MC's amongst others.
