Previously, it has been a section of a strange and critically-acclaimed LP of the same title. The very young English classical rock prodigy plays all instruments on his LP-length suite, thus requiring 274 overdubs and about 2,000 "punch-ins". Oldfield literally lived at Manor Studio for nine months while completing the album. English label is Virgin and "Bells" is released in the US by Atlantic.
