Hi Changeling, you could say postal strikes in the UK would result in a Tubular Traffic Jam! Sorry, terrible pun, Deb

Nice to now get those stamps in my possession (presentation set and postcards), though I did rather wish to buy a handful of TB cards but wasn’t allowed (apparently they’re only to buy in sets). Excellent to see MO at the top of the list: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8444156.stm – what a cover (slightly biased!!;).

People outside UK can buy'em here:

I prefer to buy at my local post office...soon  ;)

Is there any way I could get a set of the covers and postcards sent via snail mail by Royal Mail to Australia? Has anyone got the address I can write to? Hope I can secure these memoirs, they will be a prized memento. Let me know fellow tubes, Deb

First Day Cover arrived this morning :-)

Shame they had to ruin it with those other 9 stamps, but what can you do?

Also received my first day cover with all 10 stamps. Interestingly though, the Royal Mail postmark is for a place called "Oldfield, Keighley" in West Yorkshire even though I posted it nowhere near this part of the U.K. A really nice touch by the Royal Mail!! As confirmed by the Royal Mail Adverts (Royal Mail Advert) "canancelled with a Oldfield, Keighley postmark, chosen in honour of Mike Oldfield".

Of course, maybe from the list of other artists featured, only 'Oldfield' corresponded to a U.K. place name (Pink Floyd, Coldplay, Blur, New Order, Rolling Stones, The Clash, Mike Oldfield, Led Zeppelin, Primal Scream, David Bowie). Unless anybody knows differently?

Division Bell is a pretty solid album; I can understand its use.

I WANT some TB stamps.  I wonder if I could get a sheet over here in the US...
