Shouldn't we be supporting each other here and not bickering???

Reading back my comment on Dunlooser it does look like i was a little sour at the time. However i did not mean to be, so my sincere apologies. I do like his track for what it's worth.
I've found the time to listen to all tracks now and there's a great variety in aproach and result indeed.
Showcase 3 here we go...

I've got a bit of catching up to do with this thread.... Currently listening to "Dreaming on a Milk Sky", which soars along wonderfully ethereally...

For what it's worth, my top three tub.net pieces of the last year are:

"Blue Lightning 5"
"Breakout"
"Hands Across the Mountain (Tub 2 mix)".

nice to see you back Dan!

Thanks, 4.E.

One interesting challenge for the musos in this forum would be to take an otherwise pedestrian piece of music and turn it into something impressive. I was looking at a web page on WA lighthouses, and it made me think of "I Want to Marry a Lighthouse Keeper" from Clockwork Orange. I throw down the gauntlet to anyone who can do anything with this silly song  :D

Now that's a shame since it wasn't personal.

A few weeks ago Branston posted a link to a new track. The next day it turned out that no one had replied and he was pissed/disappointed. I reacted that people have more to do than be online all of the time.
In short a discussion not worth repeating.

;) ...well i can understand him sometimes that's what i feel but in fact the comments come one day ....

...that's what i was feeling for Starfish Starfield and in fact the comments are there now .

..i have to admit sometimes it's my fault since i don't give much news about me and comments about the tracks ..that doesn't mean i don't like them ....

I'm pretty sure it had nothing to do with your comments Oblique.

That's a great tune for the Showcase Phil  :D

Mine is still on the way, I'm just waiting for a guest Guitarest to finish working on it.

;) Maybe you could ask to Jose Manuel ? or Kev ? and surely  i'm forgetting other goods from our community .

..Starfish Starfield is not the success i thought it would be ... so , i wonder if i better should not to participate to the next showcase ...

...maybe keeping my tracks and make a new album with them would be better ..

Phil you have to join some Ambient groups on SC and put your songs there to improve your play count and to get people listening.

Hey M42 has been downloaded 44 times  :O

And who was the Venetian with Blonde hair ????   :)

.....the Venetian blond hair girl is a Starfish ! She's my " star " !!!  :)  Make of that what you will :)  :p

Tonight I will put Starfish Starfield up on the Weebly site.
That may lift its playcount, just like it did for M42.

It's up on the Weebly site now Phil.

And I updated both S*S and M42 with the new widgets

You know I have a really great idea for the next Showcase..It's not a theme or a Genre (Unless we create one) and it would be our toughest test yet....

But it is something Mike does very well....Any takers ????

So what's your idea, Cam? The tension of not knowing is getting to much already.

Edit:
Ps. Wild guess: lay back and do nothing.
