A cool take on that track, I think I prefer it to the original :O

Bravo! :D

[EDIT] Three listens now :) I really like how you swept in the intro from the background! This is one of my favourite pieces uploaded on this forum :)

Thanks  Bell end, Dom.M and BT for your comments, it was just one of those tunes that I wanted to go on for a little bit longer. I also find it scary how much work I put into these tunes, but then so does my wife and two little girls! Oh well, it's either that or I go back to building my Yurt!!

Thankyou captainjjb,Wayfarer, Blue Tape and Music to the Rescue, great to get your feedback on this track. When writing it, I did muck around with adding some timpani to the choir sections (as in the original) but felt it was getting a bit busy so pulled it out. From memory it sounded not to bad with just timps, bass and choir as an arrangement on there own - maybe I should re-visit this idea.

For me, on the original when the choir comes in, it's pretty much like a timpani solo, very powerful orchestration, just love it.

This is brilliant. As an unexperienced musician I thought this was very good. What is it based on?

Hi Beautifulgeorgie and thanks for your kind words. 'Oradioidoo' is based on 'Orabidoo' from the 'Five Miles Out' album, it uses a theme that appears towards the end, one of my favourites actually -  you should check it out. Thanks again for your comments, and don't worry about being an "unexperienced musician", your opinion is just as valid, if not more, than an experienced musician.

It's a nice one, great sound. Listening to it for the first time, the start reminds me to Amarok, and the rest appears to me as the Orabidoo revision from today's Mike.

Hi Trinidad

Thanks for your post, I'm very pleased you enjoyed it.

I agree with your analysis of Oradioidoo. I never really thought of it in those terms when writing it, but I think your right on the money!

Regards

Jeremy

aha, found it!  Every time I fall over this in my playlist I think it is far better than the original - there, said it.  Mind you Mr Bell said that from the off!

Very clear pluctrum around the 1:40 mark  -have you super-glued your finger nails too?

But seriously - a great piece, do you have any self penned work to share?
