Isn't it a bit odd that it's to be published by Virgin? What happened to "Fuck You RB"?  :O

I'd heard that the two had somewhat reconciled. Remember Branson's appearance at the TB3 debut concert, clearly seen in the video.

hehe before i thought it was hes father..

they are kind of alike..

I suppose we can look forward to seeing that in a forthcoming installment of the "Dark Star Wars" movie series:

"Mike, I am your father....", the cloaked villain says, after the climax of the big battle-scene inside a vast hot-air balloon in which Mike and Richard whale on each other with glowing guitars (a battle nicely announced by Viv Stanshall: "Quick feint to the left! Fake and parry! Two slightly distorted stabs to the chest!")

Mike refuses the outstretched hand, and chooses instead to plummet down the shaft, screaming obscenities in morse code.

Wow - look at those blue eyes on the cover shot!!  They are very intense.

Don't see any pre-order info on any USA sites (amazon or Barnes and Noble).

Well....some books have multiple endings...some collectors' editions of magazines have different covers....so sure...why not on Mike's book? ;)

Whoops--meant to say that you may want to put a cover on the book to better protect it (and the original cover) if you're using it extensively, so suppose you could cover the cover with your favorite image. :)

Ha ha gary, do you only chat up the girls on one side? Can I call you 'browneye' now?

That is an awesome cover, is it official??????

As the book is called 'Changeling' maybe Mike is stating that Ibiza had the biggest influence on him because I think the blonde hair was around that time wasn't it, or just after, when he cut his hair short and 'changed'.

It's probably just the pic he liked best, and he does look happy.

I imagine there will be plenty of hippy pics inside for me and Galadriel, hope so.

Got mine on order from Amazan!!!!!!!!!!! Hope there are no delays.

perhaps he chose this photo because it's over 10 years old and he's getting on a bit now (arn't we all ;-)

I like the cover, very striking. He looked better around this time of the Tub 3 gig than he did at the Tub 2 gig.

Hhhmmm...I just looked up the word "changeling" on dictionary.com.  Here is the result.  Which of these definitions do you think he meant?

change·ling
Pronunciation[cheynj-ling]
noun

1. a child surreptitiously or unintentionally substituted for another.
2. (in folklore) an ugly, stupid, or strange child left by fairies in place of a pretty, charming child.
3. Philately. a postage stamp that, by accident or intention, has been chemically changed in color.
4. Archaic. a. a renegade or turncoat.
b. an imbecile.
