In this topic from the spanish forum you have the details of Mike's new electro-acoustic guitar (Line 6 Variax 700 model):

That guitar belongs to Dirk Hohmeyers wife Karen who lent it to Mike for he didn´t have a decent semi-acoustic to match the needs for the concerts after his sell out of guitars earlier this year.

Dirk brought it to London to Paul Humphries of OMD fame who then took it over to Air Studios run by Richard Barrie, Mikes technician. Finally it landed in Tockington from where it was shipped to Antwerp.

I think what we all can expect is the music with the Bells in it!

my old Ramirez has been a bit funny recently.  I think it needs it's old master, a bit like the One Ring!  Those funny scatches didn't come from my stubby fingers.  I feel an odd pull towards foreign parts.

Manintherain, do you know how many vocal and how many instrumental songs is going to play Mike? Is it possible that the list of themes change from one concert to another?

Greetings from Spain

Greetings from Spain

I´m not sure about changes from concert to concert, but from her own saying Miriam will be singing two songs with Mike and will do one song from her new album.

My guess would be Moonlight Shadow and To France for the first two but please don´t take this for granted!

It just pleases me so very very much to see him holding a guitar again :)
A new pic of Mike playing :D

Great!

I'm sure there will be no surprises in the setlist, I think, so I think me might expect TBells, To France, Moonlight Shadow and Man in the Rain or so...
But Ommadawn would be nice yes, or ... well... everything would be fine ;)

Everything of course means everything, except for a certain album, with a certain title beginning with Millenium, and ending with Bell  ;)

I've done a little playing with the last image from the Antwerp rehersals. Don't know if you like it but here it is anyway.

I hate to tell you this, but we're in a picture topic, in a music forum, hairdo is nowhere in the equation.
;)
