Nice! The clip "On My Heart" (with the vocals) was really, really good. Easily the best thing I've heard from Mike in 20 years time (no exaggeration!).

Overall it sounds like a romantic album, which is nice. Looking forward to hearing the whole thing. At least the rumours about a "TB IV" can now be put to rest! The clips don't sound a lot like Tubular Bells.

My only complaint is the last clip, which reminds me of Wind Chimes pt 1 (no pleasant memories!).

Ever since getting that brief taste from the ClassicFM podcast, I'd been eagerly waiting for more bits and pieces, so this is exactly what I needed to take the edge off my hunger. Thanks! I intend to indulge in some serious wallowing in it tonight.

Excellent! My expectations are much higher again. "On My Heart" sounded beautiful, as far as I can tell from that short clip, and I personally really liked the "Musica Universalis"-section. I have no bad memories from Wind Chimes Pt.1, besides this sounds like building into a nice power climax for this album.

It was time for some official clips of MOTS.

And I can hear clearly that Mike's musical ID is on those small pieces!

It's great, really the best orchestral/classical work of Mike so far! But i cannot resist of saying that the first track begins like TB... ;)

The files are compressed so hard that you hear some digital junk where it's supposed to be silence. :/
I really like the tubular "twist" on the first one...the rest is not at all like Tubular Bells imho.
I think I'm going to love this.

Hmmm...
I'm trying to decide if I want to listen to these...
I had the thought that I might like to hear the album all as new when it's released...it's tempting of course... :p

Very promising!

A bit like Tony Banks' orchestral album but more adventurous and with Mike's distinctive musical style.

IMHO it's a good come back from Mike :) It couldn't be any worse than L&S, so I'm waiting for this one. To tell the truth, if I heard it on the radio, I'd have no idea it's Oldfield... and after L&S it's a good thing. Cheers!

They are links given to us directly by Universal; they appear to be hosted on an independent file delivery server, so unfortunately there's no exciting goody-packed website that you can visit.

As for the information...it'll come...
