Marketing talk - the DVD isn't 7 hours long, as they might make it sound. There's 7 hours total video on there - they're taking each camera angle and adding the times for all of them together. The concert is roughly 100 minutes long - you'll have to watch it several times, if you want to see all 7 hours of it!

I'm certainly more looking forward to it than the new album but thats possibly because we've heard most of the new album already in some form.

I think Korgsrew is right. I once bought the ´Genesis - We can´t dance´ tour DVD, because I´ve been to the concert in Rotterdam. On the back it says it´s total running time is ± 8 hours. They indeed count the time of all the different angles.

Yes, the translation sure does fan the heart more highly!

If you like good translations, check this out. It is the beginning of the "Song of Hiawatha" from the Japanese pressing translation (the "Weight Goods Marijuana" version), passed through French to German and back to English:

I like scandals on the wooded region,
Who was changed to determine
Through that I may not polish
Half of door of the water of dixie
Supported the beginning morning of the summer
I want far away, and waited
The whole air with freshness, am!
Filled the whole earth, bright and merrily
And before it by the sun, I
Toward the neighbouring forest....

Whatever the "water of Dixie" is, it is either something you drink from a Dixie cup.... or it is another name for moonshine (the cause of many a scandal of the wooded regions of old Dixie).

The DVD I dreamed of!  :)  Really cool!

But does anyone know if there were also cameras at one show of the Then And Now tour in 1999? Also loved to see a DVD of that tour!

On amazon.co.uk, the DVD is ranked #149.

That is VERY high, I think!

A DVD of ANY live concert would suit me. You can never have too much of a good thing  :)

As someone said, that translator is hilarious; "The DVD makes fun real!".
Ever seen Jay Leno's "headlines?". Yesterday he had a chinese children's game which said "
get ready to crumble obscure!" on the box. :-)

Seriously, this DVD is a release I could only have dreamt of. It's too f**ing good to be true!!!!!
