There seemed to be general opinion thet Collaborations was a wasted opportunity. Now i don't neccesarily agree wholey but there's so much more. With the benefit of 32 years a New Collaborations would be a fine idea. This would include his pre TB stuff as well as stuff he's done since. My choices would include:

A Midsummer Night's Happening-Sallyangie
Whatevershebringswesing -Kevin Ayres
Why Are We Sleeping (Live)-Kevin Ayres
Day Of The Pacheron-With Tom Newman (included on the Variations on a rhythm of Mike Oldfield cd)
The Sirens-David Bedford
Downwind-Pierre Moerlins Gong

Any other ideas?

Instructions For Angels again with David Bedford would have to be on it for me.

I really must get that.Pay day next week so i'll be off to my local good cd shop. They have managed to get all the other Bedford albums even when they were difficult to track down 10 years ago.
I'd say Nurses Song With Elephants if only for Mike's bass playing on the title track but for the 7 minutes of avant garde noodling in front of the section where Mike comes in.The song section with Mike on it is kind of cheesey but the bass playing is that wonderfully driving style that he does do well.

Pass Me By with Phil Beer would be an excelent inclusion and maybe also his contribution to Robert Wyatt's Rock Bottom album.

Listen to Mohribold; an epic musical tapestry that weaves between a multitude of genres.

Andrew Taylor's Mohribold album has proved very popular with fans of symphonic-rock, prog-rock, psych-folk and indeed Oldfield's classic albums!

I would definitely want "Downwind" and "Instructions..." plus "Suzy" "Sad Sing" with Tom Newman, and "Hands Calming" with Pekka Pohjola. Should Mike ever collaborate with Bjork, I would love to be there in person.
