Roughwood Studio

The plan, taken from an article in a company magazine published by synthesiser manufacturer Roland, shows the layout of Mike's Roughwood Croft studio. The studio is situated in a converted coach house in Buckinghamshire, England, and has been designed so that it is in several separate rooms - one for guitars, one for keyboards, one for drums and one for the control room. The rooms are linked via talkback, so that a group of musicians can play together even if they can't see each other. The drum kit in the drums area is electronic, and includes a set of Roland V-Drums and a Drum Kat.
Below is a picture of the keyboards area, with Adrian Thomas, musical director and keyboard player from Mike's 1999 tour and Berlin 2000 concert.
